We collect the minimum information we need to take care of your dog and run our business. We don't sell your data — including your phone number — to anyone. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Allforthewag ("we," "us," or "AFTW") operates a dog daycare and boarding service in Jersey City, New Jersey. This privacy policy covers our website (allforthewag.com), our customer app (app.allforthewag.com), and any SMS or email communications we send you.

To provide our services, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, emergency contact.
• Pet information: your dog's name, breed, age, behavioral notes, vaccination records, vet contact, dietary and medical needs.
• Booking and visit data: dates and times your dog was with us, services received, photos taken during their stay (with your consent), staff notes.
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card numbers ourselves.
• Communication data: messages you exchange with us by email, SMS, or in-app chat.

We use the information you give us only to:

• Schedule, confirm, and run your dog's visits
• Send you service-related notifications (booking reminders, vaccine expirations, payment receipts)
• Reply when you contact us with a question
• Process payments and keep accurate financial records
• Improve safety — for example, knowing a dog's behavioral history before pairing them with the right play group
• Meet legal obligations like tax records and incident reporting

When you create an account and provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Allforthewag related to your account and your dog's care. Message types include booking confirmations, day-of pickup reminders, vaccination expiration alerts, package renewal notices, payment receipts, and customer service replies.

We do not share, sell, or transfer your mobile phone number or text-message content to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile data is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering your messages.

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply — check with your mobile carrier for details. To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any text we send. For help, reply HELP.

We share your information only with the parties strictly required to run our business:

• Payment processor (Stripe) — to process card payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data they handle on our behalf.
• Email provider (Resend) — to deliver transactional emails to you.
• SMS provider (Twilio) — to deliver and receive text messages on our behalf.
• Your veterinarian — only when you ask us to share medical-release information with them.
• Authorities — only when legally required (e.g., a court order or in an emergency to protect the safety of a pet, person, or property).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing platforms.

We retain account, visit, and payment records as long as your account is active and for up to seven years after closure to meet tax and legal recordkeeping obligations. Photos and behavioral notes can be deleted at your request at any time. SMS opt-out preferences are retained indefinitely so we don't accidentally text you again after you've asked us not to.

You have the right to:

• Access the information we have about you and your dog
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Request that we delete your account and associated records (subject to the recordkeeping obligations above)
• Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP) or email at any time (link in every email)

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted databases, role-based access controls so only the staff who need a piece of information can see it, and regular reviews of who has access to what. No system is ever completely secure, but we take it seriously.

Our services are intended for adults (18+) who are responsible for a dog. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

When we make material changes to this policy we'll update the effective date at the top and notify active accounts by email. Continued use of our services after a change means you've accepted the updated policy.
